Married, Executive Chef One Child a daughter
Daughter is very close to her father.
Father feels like every time he gets ahead, something pulls him back, but he keeps trying because of his bond wiht his child. Keeps saying, "i feel like i'm gonig to die" and wife and daughter tell him that he is being silly.
Very scared of hospitals, since only exposure has been with death at them.
Diagnosed with AIDS received from a night in vegas.
Has to explain to wife and child.
"I just can't win, yeah , I made a mistake but does that mean i have to die for it?"
at time of discharge he is not able to focus on what is being told to him. His wife has gone to deal with things and get herself checkedout and the daughter is scared and so she stays away with her friends.
So Ken is left there to try and comprehend a litany of informaiton, regulations, education, dos and don'ts and it becomes a "blahblahblahblahblahblahblah" soliliquy by the discharge nurse.
Transition Into Persona 2
This is the last day that Ken was alive. He was with his wife and daughter at the Giants victory parade after the world series win. You can see from this shot how close the two of them were to each other. Thats what makes the end of this story so sad.
So moving the story along. This slidewas used to personify the relationship between the father and daughter to make the final picture in the user stories more impactful.

A Daughter Makes The Most Difficult Decision Of Her Entire LIfe
A week after she turns eighteen, Alexis (Persona2) is required to make the decision as the MPOA, to disconnect her father from life support. Unable to reach her mother, unable to talk to her dad, lost and alone, she ages from 18 into well past most mature thirty year olds in a matter of hours. She has spent the last few weeks inbetween hospital diagnosis , discharge and learning how to help her dad with medications and diet, lifestyle changes etc, she harbors fears and guilt that something she did with the medications caused this to happen. They would later find out that there had been a glitch in the system at the hospital and some meds were left out . The important ones, that have life threatening risks attached to them if they are taken together or with certain types of food.

Due to a start up that is already well into their alphabet letter soup funding rounds, we decided to change out name to LoopRx. It just flows better and the taglines are easier to come up with. the color palatte is stil in its infancy here. We haven't decided if we like the yellowish/minty color to much. Wonder if that is way to girly.. Will ahve to ponder that by letting sit up on the wall above my computer and see how I feel about it in a few days.
